@venomchaser88 if your speaking about the activation of the phone through iTunes than it would be your grandpa snn because its asking for the ssn that is affiliated with the cellular service account. I wouldn’t believe it would be your snn either way. Hope it helps!
Hey! i got an iPhone 4s for xmas and my grandpa bought it for me… I’m only 15 so i can’t pay my own bills so the phone is under his contract. My question is do i put my social security number or do i put his social security? of course the billing address is gonna be his since i can’t pay… please help!

I find that this Iphone 4S will be going out of style and more phones will come in the market with better options but what will not be good is being stuck in a CONTRACT for a long period. Phones can get ruined or lost before the time of Eligibility but people can’t wait because they would need a phone. 1. Can you set the phone up without using a computer if you are getting one from verizon? and 2. Do you have to put in your SS# for verizon as well?

Flash sucks, even adobe has admitted it’s failed (if you really want flash for SOME reason then there is an app on the app store that allows you to surf the web with flash), Widgets serve no purpose because an apps are much better than them, Since the PC-free update of iOS5 I don’t see why downloading content through iTunes would be any hassle, any screen bigger than an iPhone 4s wouldn’t fit in my pocket to that would just be a big inconvenience, iPhone4s has even gigs AND HD.

all you people must not have set up your own cellular contract with your carrier. most companies require SSN when dealing with monthly payments or any kind of payments you have contracts with… the SSN goes to your cellular carrier and to the cell phone provider. (which in this case it would be apple) stop freaking out over nothing…
its most likely that the apple servers were getting over whelmed with activations. just a guess.
