If your kid is into those prize claw machines that never spit out actual prizes, get this app and tell Junior to shut his hole.
Ok that’s a little mean, don’t do that! But do try to amuse him/her/it with this app because (a) this prize claw rarely drops anything, (b) it’s free, and (c) it’s very Halloween-themed which I hear children are really into this time of year.
Prize Claw Halloween is far from perfect. In fact, it’s kind of a visual nightmare, but it does do a pretty good job of making a game out of methodically and repeatedly retrieving virtual junk from the prize box. There are puzzle pieces that can be picked up to complete a picture, there are powerups, there are objectives, this thing could really keep the offspring busy.
One thing to watch out for, though, is that said offspring might start buying in-app items without you knowing so keep an eye on the action if you’re watching your iTunes budget.
